Greetings to readers,
With great posts comes great responsibilies and the post of the head girl of such a great institution brings forth greater responsibilities.
The world today is in need of leaders who are responsible for their actions and are open to suggestions. I will try my best as the head girl to bring about a positive change in every person and encourage and motivate the St. Marians to strive to bring glory to this institution, the world and enlighten lives. We together will strive to harness a world where hope, peace, brotherhood, and reconciliation thrives. We will set our eyes to be Onward and upward, Strive with hope to enlighten lives, to progress from Darkness to light and create a world where Truth alone triumphs. Thus as St. Marian’s we will do our bit to bring a greater change in this world.

It is a privilege to write this message as the head girl of such a great institution. I extend my heartfelt gratitude towards the school management and my teachers for believing in me and finding me capable of holding such a prestigious post . I acknowledge that this institution has moulded me into what I am today, a legacy that I will carry with me forever.
‘Great achievements come with great responsibility.’ Therefore I understand that my appointment as the head girl calls me to give my extra time and effort. But we cannot achieve the set goals, unless all of us, the St. Marians work together as a team, following the 5Cs, i.e. Character, Compassion, Commitment, Conscience and Competence and fulfill the vision of our foundress Mother Mary Ward of creating a ‘Just society.’
We, as St. Marians have the greater responsibility of carrying her dream forward and ‘Building a better future together’, where all individual have equal right and treated equally.
Therefore my dear fellow St. Marians, let us strive with hope and be onwards and upwards. May the education imparted in SMCIC enlighten our heart and soul to create a world where truth alone triumphs.
