Mary Ward School is an outreached school run by St. Mary’s Convent Inter College Education Society for the poor students of the localities. To make quality education available for the less privileged of our neighborhood, Mary Ward School was begun in the year 1975 in the same premises of St. Mary’s Convent Inter College, in a former assembly shed which was converted to four class rooms and an office. The poor children of the neighboring villages were taught during the school hours.
Owing to the increasing number of students, a new school block with better facilities was a dream yet to be fulfilled. Thus in the Year 2013 on 6th July a new block for the students of Mary Ward School with its Hi-Tech fully Air-Conditioned Laboratory and a small multipurpose hall in the first floor, was blessed and inaugurated by Most Rev. Dr. Gerald John Mathias, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Lucknow. This well-furnished school building has provided a better teaching learning atmosphere for the students of Mary Ward School. At Present quality education is being imparted to 302 students of our neighborhood.
