Our Shining Pearl – Sr. Marina
“As a pearl emerges from an oyster, so does true leadership arise from a foundation of strength and grace.”
With hearts overflowing with appreciation and admiration, the students of class VIII-A, along with students from all senior, junior, and primary sections, came together to celebrate the momentous occasion of Principal’s Day on October 14, 2024. Under the able guidance of Ma’am Poonam Bhutani and other dedicated teachers, the students performed with grace and enthusiasm, showcasing their love for Sister Marina.
The event began with prayers, invoking Almighty’s blessings and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by representatives. To express their love and gratitude, the teachers and students presented cards to Sister. It was followed by a harmonious song performed by the choir. A captivating skit illustrated the formation of a pearl in an oyster, symbolising the myriad qualities of our beloved principal, Sr. Marina, who, like a pearl, radiates beauty, light, and strength for the SMCIC family. It included a series of graceful and energetic dances, culminating in a vibrant grand finale by the school choir that left the audience spellbound.
Sr. Marina concluded the celebration with her words of wisdom, expressing her feelings and emphasising to take responsibility for oneself and strive to be the best versions of yourselves.
