St. Mary’s Convent Inter College celebrated
Christmas with great joy, devotion, and festive spirit on 22nd December 2025,
under the inspiring theme “From the Star to the Savior.” The day-long
celebration reflected a beautiful journey of gratitude, faith, and hope,
reminding everyone of the true essence of Christmas.
The program was graciously honored by the
presence of the chief guest, Rev. Father Anup Lakra, assistant priest at
Holy Redeemer Church and youth director of the Lucknow Diocese. His inspiring
Christmas message encouraged all present to embrace compassion, gratitude, and
service in their daily lives. The celebration was also blessed by the presence
of our manager, Rev. Sr. Janet; principal, Rev. Sr. Marina; headmistress, Rev. Sr. Alisha; Reverend Sisters; teachers; and students.
The festivities commenced with a solemn procession, carol, and invocation prayer, creating a prayerful beginning to the
celebration.
A major highlight of the day was the thematic play “From
the Star to the Savior,” which beautifully depicted the journey of the Star
of Gratitude, guiding hearts toward the Nativity and the birth of Jesus
Christ. Soulful choir renditions, prayer dance, and the Nativity presentation
enriched the spiritual atmosphere of the program.
Adding to the festive cheer, a class-wise carol singing competition was also conducted, where students
enthusiastically presented traditional Christmas carols, filling the campus
with melody, joy, and celebration.
The celebration concluded with the felicitation of
the chief guest and warm Christmas greetings, inspiring everyone to carry the
light of faith, gratitude, and hope into the holiday season.
