The Parents’ Day Celebration
held on 19th November, 2025 was a celebration of parenthood when the
students of Class XI, gathered to showcase their love and gratitude to the
sacred bond and the most precious blessing of god in this earth- our dear
parents. The programme began with a prayerful invocation, followed by the
screening of a short documentary, ‘The Saga of SMCIC’ which showcased the
school’s legacy of love , faith, hope and reconciliation. This was followed by
a beautiful presentation of the theme ‘Hridya Sutra’ a tribute to the invisible
thread that binds generations, reminding us that love is the most profound
metric of all. The theme beautifully presented the emotional cords of
parenthood and showcased the endless possibilities that spring from a loving
and guiding heart. The mesmerizing performances highlighted the importance of
the journey of love, which can neither be measured in numbers nor in data. The
event concluded with the thought provoking words of Rev. Sr. Marina who spoke
on the shared responsibility of the school as well as the parents in shaping a
child’s personality. Sister also acknowledged the parents for their cooperation
and appreciated the support they extended to the school in fulfilling its
commitment towards excellence and growth. The celebration reminded all that childhood is not built on
numbers but it is built on love, trust and faith. Parenthood will always be
more than data- it is the heartbeat that guides every child forward.
