St. Mary’s Convent Inter College, Lucknow, celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great pride and patriotic fervour. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Esteemed Chief Guest,Retd.  Col.  Avinash Singhal,  accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Singhal, in the presence of Our  Manager, Rev. Sr. Janet, Principal, Rev. Sr.  Marina, Rev. Sisters, Vice President of the Old Students’ Association,    Mr. Vikas Dalela,  along with  distinguished judges

The cultural programme commenced with a special assembly presentation by the students of Class 11, eloquently capturing the spirit of patriotism through their heartfelt performances. The highlight of the day was the Inter-House Dance Drama Competition, “Ek Manzil, Ek Armaan – One Dream, One Destination”, where each house brought the theme to life with remarkable creativity, vibrant energy, and captivating expressions. The programme also featured stirring speeches, soul-stirring patriotic melodies, and mesmerising dance performances—each a heartfelt tribute to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and a reflection of the vision and inspiration that continue to guide us in the present.

The atmosphere throughout the campus was imbued with a profound sense of unity, dedication, and love for the motherland, making the celebration a truly memorable homage to India’s glorious journey of freedom.
